Held in the Netherlands, on an annual basis, the Dance Valley Festival is a very popular event that draws in crowds of people to Amsterdam. The festival is usually conducted at Spaarnwoude during the month of July.
The first Dance Valley Festival was held in the year 1995 and was considered to be a grand success. The event drew in a crowd of over 8,000 people that year, and by the year 2000, the number of participants increased to 90,000. The Annual Dance Valley Festival was originally held during the first week of the month of August, but was later rescheduled due to the fact that it coincided with the UDC Festival.
Spurred on by its yearly success, the Dance Valley Festival then expanded to become a three-day event that appealed to dance enthusiasts from all over the world. Today, the Dance Valley Festival is the most popular dance event in the world.
Aside from dance concerts and performance routines, the Dance Valley Festival also hosts extreme sporting events like BMX and skateboarding competitions. The festival also encourages the attention of world class DJ’s who use the event as a platform to perform for the thousands of spectators in attendance.
